​J.Deans Sausage and Jerky Company was Started in1984. Chef Jim Dean Started making one kind of Venison Sausage (Smoked Sausage) for about 15  deer hunters his first year, Over the years he developed many recipes such as Summer sausage and his famous pepper stix to name a few....with great customer service and products the business grew in size each year.
In 2008 His son Shane Dean Joined back in the family business and created a small retail line of the family recipe sausage and jerky products and opened 2 small indoor retail locations in the Davison and Flint Farm Markets..The new Retail Business grew quickly,The Father Son team is now producing over 70 sausage and jerky products and serving thousands of deer hunters for there venison processing needs.
   J Deans Sausage Jerky and Specialty Meats newest location is in Commerce township on the Corner of Cooley Lk And Union Lk is a brand new location featuring there full line of Sausage and Jerky Recipies, House Made Bacons and Pulled Pork,Wild Caught Fish,Grass Fed and Angus Beef steaks and grinds,locally raised Amish Chicken all Antibiotic and Hormone Free..Products Feature recipes made with Beef,Turkey,Chicken,Venison,Elk,Bisson,and Pork.and lots of other Michigan made products.
    The Commerce and Butcher shop Davison location will processing any Deer Hunters Venison or any Wild Game Meat that is (Off The Bone)  Fresh or Frozen is ok and J.Deans Makes each of its batches one by one so hunters can customise orders and get there own meat back..
